IMUA 16 Boys Team and dedicated supporters, brace yourselves for thrilling news! After a triumphant weekend, the NCVA contacted us, inspired by the remarkable story of our performance shared across IMUA's social media. Tonight, as we gathered for practice, I couldn't contain my excitement in revealing our monumental achievement—a coveted Junior National Bid secured for the 2024 USA Boys' Junior National Championships in Dallas, Texas, from June 26th to June 29th. This remarkable feat, a testament to your unwavering dedication, places us among the elite 36 teams in the 16 USA division. A bid we earned at the NCVA Boy's Far Western Junior National Qualifiers!
To the parents, your steadfast support has been pivotal. As we prepare for this national stage, let's fine-tune our skills, maintain unwavering support, and aim for greatness. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and I am confident the IMUA 16 Boys Team will make our community immensely proud.

In the Hawaiian language, the word "I MUA" means "to move forward" or "to move ahead" toward a goal. The character of the organization is truly reflected by its team motto "Moving FORWARD with hard work and commitment, striving for excellence!” Our club have been in existence since 1988. IMUA has had a profound impact on the local volleyball community since its inception. In the past decade, there hasn't been any indoor or beach volleyball organization in the Monterey County who has developed and/or produced as many college scholarship student athletes than IMUA!
The mission of IMUA Volleyball Club is dedicated to assisting youth in developing the characteristics of citizenship, respect, discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, and physical and mental well-being through the spirit of organized sports. IMUA goals are to strive for excellence both on and of the court and provide a ohana-family filled ambiance that is enjoyable and memorable.
IMUA Beach Club is comprised of a passionate and dedicated team motivated in growing the sport of beach volleyball. Capitalizing on the heightened and renewed interest in our beloved sport, IMUA will serve as the leader in promoting beach volleyball and will strive to provide the elite platform from which the sport will grow and prosper in our community.

Its mission is to provide a world-class club experience that assist youth in developing the characteristics of citizenship, respect, discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship and physical and mental well-being through the spirit of organized amateur sports competition at the local, state and national levels. This is accomplished through the corporation's mission statement and policy of teaching youth to strive for excellence both on and off the court. The corporation actively participates in the USA Volleyball Junior program and is organized with the goal of fostering national and/or international competition.
Produced by IMUA Beach Club, The Monterey Beach Junior Open Championships is arguably the largest most creative junior beach volleyball event in all of Central and Northern California! Every summer the shores of Del Monte Beach is not your normal beach scene. Dressed up with palm trees and music entertainment throughout the day. The positive vibe is truly evident from participants, to family members watching, and individuals strolling by.
Competing for the top team prize...the best junior beach athletes in all of Central and Northern California will be on showcasing their talents at the annual Monterey Beach Junior Open Championships!
